ARMA Austin Chapter

WELCOME to the Austin Chapter!!

The ARMA Austin Chapter consists of approximately 140 members and is chartered as a Large Chapter under ARMA International (a not-for-profit professional association and the authority on governing information as a strategic asset).  Operating in the beautiful capital of Texas, we are part of the Southwest Region of ARMA International. ARMA Austin boasts that 28 members are CRMs and 3 of our members went on to be President of the ARMA International Board of Directors.

Our chapter has won many awards at the International Level including most recently the Chapter of the Year Award for 2012 & 2010; Membership Recruitment Award and Special Project Award in 2010; Chapter Website of the Year, Chapter Participation Award, and Chapter Merit Award in 2011; as well as honorable mentions for our newsletter and Chapter of the Year in 2011.

We meet monthly at predetermined locations.  We host a variety of events including a holiday gathering, vendor appreciation show, member appreciation meeting, Spring Seminar, and our most popular, a public Shred Day where all the members of the community can securely shred their personal confidential documents while we collect donations for the Capital Area Food Bank and the Chapter.

If you are not a member, come and check us out. If you are a member, be sure to come to a meeting and volunteer for one of the opportunities available and help continue make our chapter one of the best.
