Speaker: John Frost, CRM
John P. Frost, CRM serves as Practice Manager, Information Governance Solutions for IBM ECM Software Services. John has been a Principal Architect with IBM and FileNet Corporation since 2005, where his focus assisting clients in planning, architecting and implementing Information Lifecycle Governance solutions. John has served in records management and/or technology management capacities for American Airlines, Johnson & Johnson Medical, the Miss Universe Organization and the City of Shreveport, Louisiana.
John is a Past President of ARMA International and has served in numerous other Chapter, Region and International leadership roles within that organization. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Records Managers.
Topic: Successful Implementation of Enterprise-Wide Information Governance
Implementing information governance within an enterprise requires careful use of people, policy, and process, and technology. It is a multi-year endeavor requiring efficient planning and execution, as well as leveraging key partnerships with vendors. Come learn how to successfully execute information governance at the enterprise level.

Established in 1955, its approximately 11,000 members include records managers, archivists, corporate librarians, imaging specialists, legal professionals, IT managers, consultants, and educators, from a wide variety of industries, including government, legal, healthcare, financial services, and petroleum in the United States, Canada, and 30-plus other countries.
The local chapter, ARMA Austin, has for over thirty years served records and information management professionals in the Austin area through educational meetings, seminars and workshops. Membership drawn from the local community provides opportunities for networking as well as learning.Membership Information
The chapter boasts a membership of over 150 members. 22 members hold the CRM certification.
Monthly meeting topics range from issues related to identify theft, electronic records management, archival issues to dealing with litigation.
