WELCOME to the Austin Chapter!!
This site is designed to show chapters who are considering utlizing the Chapter Website Services Program through ARMA International the different design choices and get a feeling of what it has to offer.
ARMA International is the professional association for records managers and the leading authority on managing paper and electronic records and information
Established in 1955, its approximately 11,000 members include records managers, archivists, corporate librarians, imaging specialists, legal professionals, IT managers, consultants, and educators, from a wide variety of industries, including government, legal, healthcare, financial services, and petroleum in the United States, Canada, and 30-plus other countries.
The local chapter, ARMA Austin, has for over thirty years served records and information management professionals in the Austin area through educational meetings, seminars and workshops. Membership drawn from the local community provides opportunities for networking as well as learning.Membership Information
The chapter boasts a membership of over 150 members. 22 members hold the CRM certification.
Monthly meeting topics range from issues related to identify theft, electronic records management, archival issues to dealing with litigation.
